Calamities

Following procedure is applicable for our customers in case of calamities: 

• A calamity is an unexpected event that requires an urgent action like an emergency supply of goods, or a recall-action in case of food-safety risks.
• Calamities can be reported - during office hours (07:00h - 18:00h) to your regular contact person via the general phone number +31 (0)186 - 63 66 00 or via the direct phone number of your contact person. In the situation that your regular contact person is not available, an experienced colleague will help you.
• Outside official office hours (18:00h - 07:00h) and in the weekends you can contact us via the general phone number +31 (0)186 - 63 66 00 and you will be automatically redirected to our emergency number.
• We help you straight away. After dealing with an emergency, Van der Mark will evaluate if everything has proceeded satisfactorily and if we can identify opportunities for improvement for future calamity alerts.
